THE WHITE ROSE
Plot Summary:
Irma, a 20-year-old girl, goes to spend her summer vacation in the village with her beloved cousin, Raisa.
There, her knowledge and beliefs will be tested, and she will face local legends, dark secrets, and a truth that only the heart can understand…
She raises many questions and approaches the eternity of the human soul with deep respect.
She balances on the boundary between the created and the uncreated world, without ever losing touch with earthly reality.
The story is set in Ukraine and is deeply symbolic and relevant, addressing issues such as child abuse.
It is a deeply philosophical work with strong social implications that are still relevant today.
