History Buff

The exhibition “History Buff” collects and presents visual representations, sculptures, paintings, and multimedia installations, layers of living intervention. Ceramic entities, archetypal and subconscious, emerge from the depths of lakes and seas, rising from the distant past. Matter and historical evidence are stirred and kneaded, creating a clay amalgam of internal and external conflicts. Writings upon previous ones, causes of decay and creation, produce palimpsests. The violence underlying the artistic gesture is the destruction through which something new will be born.
